With more airlines and more routes than anywhere else, US fares change constantly, and the drops worth booking are easy to miss. Farepop watches fares from 11 big US airports, from New York and Boston to Los Angeles and Seattle, in US dollars.
Some of the best deals are close to home, like Dallas to Detroit for US$48 return, and some are on the other side of the world. Either way, a fare only makes the cut when it is well below what that route usually costs on those dates.
Found on 27 and 28 October 2026, each compared with the usual price for those exact dates. Fares move fast, so these are examples, not live prices.

Winter is the season for Mexico, the Caribbean and Hawaii. See where's best in January, February and March.

Every fare is compared with what the same route usually costs for the same trip length and dates. Around busy holidays we use quieter neighbouring months, so a peak price never passes for a saving.

A deal is at least 25% below the usual price for those dates, and a good fare at least 20%. Full-service airlines selling at budget prices, and travel agents undercutting the airline, are labelled as such.

Fares are checked again on their exact dates before you hear about them, and regularly after. Ones that no longer qualify are withdrawn.

Farepop doesn't sell tickets. Tap a deal and book with the airline or travel site; always check the final price, baggage and conditions before you pay.

Mistake fares appear without warning and rarely last, so you need something watching for you. Farepop checks fares from your airports several times a day and alerts you when one is far below the usual price. Our guide to mistake fares explains how to book one safely.
